Eduardo Camavinga has dropped his number 25 shirt and changed it to number 16 for the upcoming campaign.
The 19-year-old, who wore 10 during his time with former club Rennes, had limited options when he joined Los Blancos last summer and after making 40 appearances in all competitions, wearing it proudly with 25 points received.
However, with the departure of a handful of players Real This summer, a few more jerseys have become available and as Let’s say that Camavinga has turned 16.
Luka Jovic wore that number last season but has since left for Fiorentina. During the pre-season it was handed over to the returning lvaro Odriozola, who is expected to move into the new vacant 12 left by Marcelo.
Recent wearers of the 16 shirts include Borja Mayoral, who left for Getafe this summer, as well as James Rodriguez, Matteo Kovacic and even Lucas Silva.
Elsewhere, 18 shirts left by Gareth Bale are taken by Aurelian Tchoumeni and Isco’s 22 are taken by Antonio Rudiger.
