WWE SmackDown: Karian Cross returns with message for Reigns

Karian Cross shocked the wrestling world with her return to WWE on SmackDown – and she had a message for Roman Reigns.

First, here’s a list of match results:

– Ricochet defeated Happy Corbin via pinfall as Corbin was distracted by Pat McAfee at the announcer’s desk.

– Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Ludwig Kaiser via pinfall

– Shayna Baszler earned the SmackDown Women’s Title shot after winning a gauntlet match featuring Raquel Rodriguez, Schottzy, Aaliyah, Xia Lee, Natalya and Sonya Deville.

— Viking Raiders win a squash match over local talent

– Kofi Kingston defeated Eric via roll-up pinfall

Moment of the Night: Carrion Cross and Scarlett are back

Carrion Cross returns as Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre face off on SmackDown

Roman Reigns returned to SmackDown on Friday night after defeating Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam in one of the most brutal matches in WWE history. The Universal Champion addressed Drew McIntyre before the surprise return of Karian Cross.

Another big coup at the start of the Triple H era.

Cross and Scarlett should have never been released in the first place.

Even with an initially disastrous start that was out of his control, Carrion Cross still exudes credibility and demands on-screen attention. He is someone around whom you can build an entire brand.

The way he was brought out on SmackDown this week, there’s a better way to do it.

Attacking Drew McIntyre and sending Roman Reigns a message with the hourglass makes you forget about last year’s silly outfit and instead focus on the fact that he’s a monster.

Such moves by Triple H are again creating excitement about the product and gaining trust from the fanbase. Greetings all around

Match of the Night: Ricochet vs Happy Corbin

Ricochet is one of the most influential wrestlers in the world. A potentially renewed push on the horizon gives me hope in his WWE future.

The win over Happy Corbin, despite the distraction from McAfee, is a step in the right direction.

Hope he continues to win meaningful again.

Additional Highlights:

WWE announced that this week there will be a tournament to become the new Women’s Tag Team Champion from Raw.

No team has been announced yet, and it is not clear at this time where the situation stands between WWE and former champions Sasha Banks/Naomi.

Shayna Baszler earned a chance at Liv Morgan in a high-stakes gauntlet match. wwe on fox

Raquel Rodriguez, Aaliyah, Schottzy, Xia Lee, Shayna Baszler, Natalya and Sonya Deville competed in a high-stakes gauntlet match for the opportunity to challenge Liv Morgan for the SmackDown Women’s Title at WWE Clash of the Castle.

Shayna Baszler, who earned a title shot at Clash of the Castle, was another W for NXT 1.0 fans to watch the show.

Cross, Ricochet, and Baszler all had great runs in NXT when it was run by Triple H. The prospect of a similar position in WWE with “The Game” as head of creative is very promising.

As far as Shayna and Liv are concerned, I look forward to seeing how Ronda Rousey gets involved in the story.

Will the former champion help her friend? Or will she focus more on getting the title herself? Time will tell.
